New Life Institute is situated in a scenic area at the north end of the Central Valley of California. It is an area of warm summers and cool winters. We are near Shasta Lake, which is a very large man-made lake, supplying water for much of the state. Vacation lands are north, east and west of Redding.

Our school is at the back of an attractive, busy but quiet business center designated as the "Town and Country Plaza" with ample parking. We are on the outskirts of the business district of Redding, with affordable housing nearby.

New Life Institute's goal is to inspire students to aim toward high standards of ethical and professional practice. The school is following the recommendations of the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. New Life Institute offers over 850 hours of massage training. The school will encourage qualified and serious students who have completed the required 500 hours to apply to take the National Certification Examination.

We are continually striving to improve our courses and add new information and techniques. In response to California's new requirements for massage therapists, we are working to develop a new course that provides 250 hours of training and instruction. This class will be offered beginning January 2010.

The Purpose of the New Life Institute of Massage Therapy is to develop and advance within the students the art, science and the practice of massage therapy in a caring, professional and ethical manner, in order to promote the health and welfare of the clients they touch through massage.
